A large antique leather boot which was beautifully decorated and made into an advertising prop for Dri-Ped leather soles. It was more than likely displayed in a cobblers shop window.
The craftsmanship is wonderful, tiny brass pins have been set into the sole to read , “Dri-Ped Gives Double Wear “ along with a decorative scalloped border and two arrows.
The large leather boot is in great condition and measures 30 cm in length. 
Dri-ped was a product made by William Walker & Sons, Lanacashire tanners and leather merchants.
