Bank of Early 19th C Apothecary Drawers | Briggs & Oliver
top of page
An absolutely fabulous bank of early 19th C apothecary drawers.
There are 45 individual mahogany fronted drawers each with the original hand painted black gilt and red lettering onto the wood and many original hand written paper labels inside the drawers.

They have a wonderful rich patina from years of use ..... originally in a chemist they were then used in a Yorkshire textile mill ( hence the tiny labels for ‘silk’ and ‘twist’ on random drawers ) and finally in an electricians/ plumbers shop .

Height: 75 cm
Length: 230 cm
Width: 23 cm

The last photograph shows this set and its companion set , both with the same provenance. We would happy to sell the two banks together for £5500.
