A fabulous piece of antique kitchenware, an early Staffordshire treacle or molasses pot !
In good condition for its age, no chips or cracks, a small hairline to the inner body.
(It would have originally had a flat screw top lid.)
Watertight and solid, perfect for cut flowers. I love the abstract pattern on this, I’ve had it once before on an early jug but haven’t seen it since, it has a twiggy praying mantis look !
Height : 15.5 cm
