I’ve always loved this charming little book, for its title, for its dust-jacket and of course for its content!
“Looking in Junk Shops” by John Bedford with a wonderful jacket and illustrations by Susan Holland .
This is a 1961 first edition in great condition. The dust cover is unclipped and the pages are all in good order.
With all the usual suspects, from cutlery and buttons to Sunderland lustre and Mocha ware and a handy end chapter with a suggested reading list on a variety of antiques / marks and patterns and porcelain marks.
Just a lovely gift for the collector, thrifter or hoarder in your life !
