The best antique work book we’ve ever had …. dated 1842,  “Specimens of Penmanship by Henry Raisbeck” is a truly wonderful collection of scripts, each one beautifully executed to the highest standard.
A fabulous soft red bound workbook with a tissue guard to the front page, there are 31 pages in all, each with a different script and piece of poetry or prose. The penmanship is so accomplished, I can only wonder how long it took to perfect such skill !!
