A rare Salesman sample jug dating from the late 1800’s with a striking flower and eastern influenced design . It has an ear of wheat in relief to the rim. These pottery flat jugs were used by Salesmen to showcase shapes and patterns of full size jug and bowls . They are so hard to find and this is a lovely, colourful example .
