The Remington No 7 is a beast of a machine and was manufactured in the early 1900’s.
This model is also fitted with a Gorin Decimal Tabulator. This device allowed the typewriter to be used in preparing tables and filling forms by moving the carriage to preset positions without repeatedly using the space bar. The Tabulator was patented by F. P. Gorin of Chicago in 1895 and the patent assigned to the Remington Company.
