This is a charming 19th C Staffordshire alphabet nursery plate with a blue border and a daisy motif in relief. The central transfer has the letter R and a rabbit happily munching next to a rake ! 
It reads , R stands for Rabbit, for Rose and for Rake.
In excellent condition , no chips or cracks and a wonderfully wobbly middle, presumably from the firing points .
