It’s a little  creased and dogeared around the edges but this old black and white photograph is a wonderful piece of social history. 
Taken from above this was long before the days of drones so I’m assuming it was shot from a top floor window and depicts a great street party , namely the ‘children’s peace party , Wednesday 9th May , Diana Road , 4 o’clock ‘ . 
It looks like the whole street turned out !
