I always call these textile handbags Mary Poppins Bags. They’re so deceptively roomy I can imagine a potted palm or lamp stand being pulled from them !
This is a lovely one, the brass fastening gubbins are so well made and the pink flowery interior is wonderful.
Not including the swinging bamboo handle it measures 36 x 29 cm .
