This is a fabulous example... a substantial travel trunk with riveted leather corners, brass locks and the original leather strapping. It looks as if it’s spent its time between Pembroke College Cambridge and Harrogate according to the inner label and has a previous owners initials to the front: J.A.S. I’m sure if it could speak it’d have plenty of tales to tell! 

Ideal for storage as well as making an excellent coffee table .
