Pukka Luggage was manufactured and sold in Great Britain from 1909 to the late 1950s, and during the interwar years was one of the country’s most exclusive luggage labels: through the ‘20s and ‘30s, Pukka was the premier brand sold exclusively at Harrods and the Army & Navy Stores in London.” This is a fabulous example... a substantial travel trunk with riveted leather corners, brass locks and the original leather strapping. It looks as if it’s spent its time between Pembroke College Cambridge and Harrogate according to the inner label and has a previous owners initials to the front: J.A.S. I’m sure if it could speak it’d have plenty of tales to tell! Ideal for storage as well as making an excellent coffee table . 76 x 49 x 42 cm.
